PILIOS ATTORNEYS AT LAW advised an international hotel company and its affiliated Scandinavian tour operator on a strategic asset deal with a hotel owner company involving two prestigious 5-star hotels, each with over 150 rooms. The transaction required a comprehensive restructuring of contractual agreements, facilitating the transfer of business operations, including the transition of more than 200 employees, to the hotel owner company.
Our team played a pivotal role in the negotiations with the hotel owner, and was responsible for drafting and negotiating the Asset Purchase Agreement (APA), as well as the termination and settlement agreements. The handover was successfully executed during the high season in July, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal operational disruption.
